Founded in 2022 by Michael Franzese and Samvel Hakobyan, Franzese Wine brings Armenia's high-altitude vineyards to American tables. It is the only mass-market Armenian wine brand available in the United States.

The story
Michael Franzese chose the Ararat region of Armenia, one of the oldest recorded wine-producing regions in the world, with more than 6,000 years of winemaking behind it. The vines grow on volcanic soil at 4,300 to 6,000 feet.
The range covers dry reds, a crisp white, fruit wines fermented from real pomegranates, a non-alcoholic line and a 20-year Armenian brandy. The Areni and Malbec both carry 94-point ratings, and the brand took Best Wine at the 2024 Grand Tasting Awards.
